Testimony 360

Two students wearing VR headsets look around

Testimony 360 is a virtual reality experience developed for the Holocaust Educational Trust, designed to bring survivor testimony into the classroom through immersive, location-based storytelling. Created with Infinite Form, the project uses 360-degree video, photogrammetry and audio to place students in key historical locations, where they can explore and engage with testimony at their own pace.

As Creative Director, I worked with the HET team to design an experience that encourages active learning. Students are given autonomy to navigate the content, while teachers retain oversight through a linked interface and supporting resources. This dual approach allows for structured exploration and encourages meaningful discussion, ensuring the experience remains both impactful and educational.

A key principle throughout the project was authenticity. The aim was not to dramatise or steer the emotional weight of events, but to present testimony and place with clarity and respect. The power of the experience lies in the stories of the survivors themselves, and giving young people the space to engage emotionally and critically with what they are seeing and hearing.

Launched in 2024 and now in use in schools across the UK, Testimony 360 was awarded the Education and Training prize at the 2025 Charity Awards, recognising its innovation in education.

You can read more about the project via Infinite Form, Holocaust Educational Trust, and the Charity Awards.

Testimony 360 sponsored by The Eyal & Marilyn Ofer Family Foundation in partnership with the Holocaust Educational Trust and the USC Shoah Foundation.
